The ‘Sex-y’ Education

The government decided that the students of high school and junior colleges should be given some information on sex and make ‘Sex education’ a subject and a part of their syllabus, personally I think it’s a good thing, as long as I don’t have to remember and then vomit it on an exam paper, because high schoolers are quite horny, and making them understand about things they already know, is well, just perfect and very government-ish.

However, some people, as always disagree with the government (Some people = people from opposition, you know the people who lost to this government during elections and now want to fuck them up XD XD)

What is the need for us to appoint sex gurus? Europe needs sex education because of its declining population rates “ Nawab Malik, NCP MLA from Nehru Nagar

I can’t help but ‘ROFLMAOing’ when I read this guy’s response, as far as I remember sex education doesn’t teach one the positions? I guess, he is just confusing Kamasutra for sex education XD

Sex education is against Indian culture. It will affect the character of students and will lead to more crime against women” – Bashir Patel, NCP MLA

What culture is he talking about again? The culture where the woman used to be burnt alive when her husband died? Where there are women being molested every second? Where sex workers are as popular and easily available as a mobile phone? Wherein the Kamaustra was written? Where the kings married around a billion women? Where the girl’s family has to give money to get her married? Where the woman can’t even cross the street without men eying her? Seriously, we love woman so much here in India, that we can do everyone of them >.<

So, the subject of the introduction of sex education is put on hold, and will be discussed and most probably get dropped, because we Indians, don’t want filth in the heads of the kids, we don’t want to let the ‘children studying in the 12th grade’ know what a penis is, and if he has one or not, actually I shouldn’t be blaming the Indians this time, but old habits die hard, and plus if this government had not been the ruling party, they would have raised the same point, the same invalid/lame point.

Indians, one second they want to be developed, next second they want to be backward. Maybe we could make an advertisement and state points like ‘No sex education here’ or ‘We love money not the common man’ or ‘We want votes, cum and get high with us’ and then say, Truly India…Shining India :)

The Fastrack ‘review’

I have never really been a ‘watch’ person or a junk mail reader for that matter, however, the mail from the company called ‘BlogWorks‘ caught my eye, it basically said that they wanted my feedback on either Fastrack’s new eye wear or their new watch collection, I chose to get a watch ;) It took kinda a while to reach me, and plus I didn’t get the watch which I had asked for, however, this won’t really affect the review.

Why am I reviewing a watch? Isn’t this blog about more serious things? Oh well, this how ‘we’ keep the blog running, even though practically we don’t spend a dime to run it, but we will soon, however I wasn’t forced to blog about my feedback/review on it, but I still am doing it , as a simple ‘thank-you-for-the-free-watch’ gesture.

So, I open up the packaging, and I see this tin which reminded me of my first Fastrack watch (because it had the same packaging, like ‘duh’) I obviously don’t remember the model number of that watch, as its been more then six years.

Anyhoo, let’s start the reviewing on the Neon Disc 1443SL01, it was requested by their side that the feedback be on the below given points. (The photo’s of the watch which I have reviewed  : Neon Disc 1443SL01(On Flickr) | Photo’s shot by me(On Imageshack))

The style of the watch is quite original (not like it had a triangle dial or something) It’s ’subtle’ and it’s crafted well, it has backlight, which is obviously a boon for a person like me, who doesn’t want to strain his eye’s to look hard at the time, during the late hours in the night XD However, you can’t see the date in it which was kinda a bummer for me, and plus the backlight is no novelty as such :P Though, the watch looks cool when the backlight is on XD

The comfort level was not bad either, though it had a leather strap, I wore it for a 40 minute brisk walk in the morning, and it didn’t feel heavy, nor did the strap feel moist (I sweat like a pig, I do), the watch happens to be quite light, which is nice.

Now, we come to the main part of it, is this watch worth 1895 bucks? No, it’s not, when you can get a fake Rolex watch for 200, even though you won’t really get a ‘warranty’, of that watch,  and even though the warranty is important to alot of people, but as this watch is trying to be more youth friendly, or as we call it, nowadays ’Youngistaan’ friendly, it should make the watch available for a little less dough, because the college people don’t really save money, and most of them don’t get so much of pocket money and because they believe in the ‘use and throw’ system, however I do understand that you can’t really be a well established brand and then make products which are used and thrown away, however, the company which wants to make a special connection with the college going crowd, has to get their price right, I am not saying, people don’t buy Fastrack, I am saying, more people will buy it when the prices go down, then again it’s a honest opinion.

To compare Fastrack with another brand is difficult. Fastrack has it’s own place in the market, and it’s dominating the lower/mid range in watches.

And no, I don’t write reviews on my blog XD And I’d like to thank my mom, my dad, and my brain for the free watch, oh and obviously the Fastrack team XD Oh and Manpreet Kaur, the person who contacted me on behalf of BlogWorks.

The Woman who is ‘Hated’

The new lady on the block, Mrs.Pratibha Patel, who happens to be ‘our’ president, just spent over two crores (the government figure) on a trip to, err, well Latin America, quite an ‘exotic’ place to visit, I say.

The lady, who also happens to previously be the Governor of Rajasthan, is hated, not because she is a woman, but because she isn’t capable enough, though people have commented on her being a woman as the main reason why she is always in a controversy all the time, which is obviously hyped by the TV-watcher friendly media. I was Googling her, and found this, its a err, a funny and an insulting take on her stupidity, and it made me wonder why the government hasn’t taken down that site yet and/or burnt some Cyber cafe computers.

Anyway, so I decided to check out the fact that why people hated her, expect for the fact that she went to Brazil and spent over 2 crores to address only 15 people, and didn’t even bow down before our great ‘tri-coloured’ flag. (See now, the blindfolded patriotic people will hate her too.) And to my surprise I found this on Wikipedia ‘ “Dadiji ke shareer mein Baba aye … Maine unse baat ki (Baba entered Devi’s body and he communicated to me through her),” she said on TV camera.’ WHAT? She expects us to believe a dead man came into a lady’s body and then spoke to her/ the president of India? Aren’t these guys supposed to make the people not believe in such shit?

Me and my dad were actually watching TV, NDTV 24 X 7 yesterday at around 2 a.m, and their poll of the day was something like ‘Are ceremonial visits abroad of a president ,a waste of tax payers money?’ My dad kinda got angry and yelled at the TV screen, “No, but sending her to a visit abroad is definitely a waste of money! WHY DID THEY BRING THIS IDIOTIC WOMAN IN POWER?!” And it all came down to the same ‘how-people-are-hungry-for-votes’ and by bringing a woman in power, (the first woman president of India! Which is quite a lot of power) India thinks they are defiantly sending a message to the developed nations telling them “Ha! We did it, Suck on that-nuclear-powered bitch!” in other words, trying to prove that India is developed, too. But the reality is, as always, not that. They want your votes and they want it as bad as a guy wants sex. >.<

Something tells me Congress might not win the next election, even though they’ll make the ‘common man’ and the ‘poor farmers who happen to be not so poor’ and even the ‘woman who think of them as the greater race’ vote for them.Obviously now, if some Congress supporter reads this, he is gonna say ‘This is just a ‘website’ which is managed by the opposition! But here’s the inside scoop, I don’t support anybody, and no, not even Mayawati. I am voicing my own opinion, because I love this country and also because I can’t vote. Psst, Party-people get me a voter’s license and I will vote for you! :D Email me: youareanidiot@gmail.com

Jai Hindh! :D

PS - Firefox underlines ‘Pratibha’ and gives me a suggestion to change the spelling to ‘Liberation’ or ‘Vibration’ XD XD

Introduction.

Now this is not really about our shining India. In a way it is, maybe.

But yeah, this is an introduction. [sylenzed.nuke]. A delicious dish dipped in odd-flavored aesthetics and garnished with some “save the Planet” messages and some “fuck the Government” slogans. As for desert, I game by the name Nukenah.

And for the wine to take it all down, you can view my latest and first original post ‘Crouching Tiger’s the Hidden Chicken‘ on my blog AnarchoAtheist. XD

The Supreme ‘Quota’

So, the Supreme Court has decided something yet again, 27% of the seats have to be reserved for the “backward” people in educational institutes, including IITs. So those people who love to study and get good marks on their merit, basically get lesser seats, because we want to help the ‘backward’ people. And that’s because we care about them so much, :)

Do you seriously think anybody cares for anybody in this “system”? It’s like a wrestling match, each man for himself. Now see, the person who brought this up at Lok Sabha, just like Sonia Gandhi will expect a lot of votes for his party, because the people think Indians are a bunch of retards [(Not that I am denying it) People here = Politicians] and we cannot see through them, specially during the ‘election time’, they smile and throw around speeches, half of them not even knowing what they are saying. The people get swayed and they vote, and yes, I have previously ranted about that, but what the hell.

So the quota is basically a bad thing for all those people who don’t belong to some kind of tribe/backward class, and its a good news for all those people who can’t even study, but will still be given admission to IITs and whatnots, so hurray to them!

And sure, people will benefit, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be against it, even though I got admission in my college through the Sindhi quota -__- I still don’t really find the 27% reservation for OBCs very ‘nice’.

Oh yeah, ‘they’ say, this how we make things equal, well then, if you do want to make things equal, treat everyone the same way. So when are they making a quota for people who are not under the OBCs? Bah.

OMG the Inflation!!

So, yes a very ‘in’ topic these days in the rise in ‘our’ daily expenses, which is caused by *tada* something known as inflation, the topic which the finance minister loves to talk about. Now, what the heck is inflation? The process is similar to that of an inflating balloon, however this is more interesting. Inflation generally means the increase in prices of goods, mainly the day-to-day products one uses.

So, yes, the inflation is at a staggering 7.41%, this clearly tells us, that the current ruling party, were fucking us up for the past four years. The industrial growth has slowed down, the media is hyping the inflation, thus causing people to panic and even raise prices of the goods they deal in, even if they didn’t have to do it. April 1st, milk prices were increased by four bucks a liter, thus causing ice cream prices to go up, and those prices are not gonna go down, not now, not ever, its an upward trend, which isn’t so surprising to me.

So why the sudden burst of the inflation topic? Well it’s kinda because of the slow economic growth of our great country, mainly industrial growth. I mean hell, the inflation was rising all this time, but nobody cared, because the people had the money, now when they are making losses/not earning like they used to, they struggle, which causes the sudden notice of the inflation. Even a buck which is increased in any of the daily wanted products causes people to wonder and make budgetary cuts, I am here obviously talking about the middle and the lower class, who are on a fixed salary, in other words ‘the common man’. Plus, as most of you know, the media wants to take a subject and go on ranting about it for weeks, until they get an interesting rape case or maybe a murder case, or better yet, a rape case, where the victim was murdered and then it was found that she was on drugs!

I say blindfold the people, our system is great at that anyway! If you look at it nobody can’t be just a ‘consumer’ of goods and services, so if the services he uses hikes prices, or the goods he buys get expensive, he will hike prices of the goods he deals in/services he provides.

So, how does it affect, ‘us’ the ‘Youngistaan’? Well, the junk food is gonna get expensive, yeah well -_-

PS - I know the topic is basically on the Indian inflation, but I couldn’t find an appropriate picture, blame Google!

Pimpin’ Legally

I was recently forced into doing some cut-paste jobs for my English assignment. We’re doing formats of different classified advertisements so my excellent teacher who happens to be the class teacher of the commerce section came up with the genius idea of making us cut 3 classified advertisements under each category. I came across this entire page in the Hindustan Times Classifieds.

The picture says it all.

This section appeared in HT Classifieds Dated March 30th 2008. It’s on page B18 under the category of situations vacant.

Click on the picture to view an enlarged version.

(PS - ‘We’ didn’t upload the e-version of the page, because HT Online was asking us a sum of 20$, plus this was the New Delhi edition of HT)

IndChin

China today, lifted the ban from Wikipedia, isn’t that a wonderful thing? India, on the other hand has forced some ‘uber-cool’ cybercafe’s to ban Orkut, a social networking site. Which site is more dangerous? If you ask me Wikipedia is, why isn’t India banning Wikipedia?! I mean, isn’t Mumbai the next Shanghai? And aren’t we really heading towards dictatorship?

An author cannot even publish a book without starting riots between communities these days, an artist cannot even paint his work according to his will, a journalist can’t even write something against the ’system’ or else ‘people’ vandalize property of the company for which he works. A movie can’t be releasedeven though the movie is based on ‘fiction’ in some states of the country, a blogger can’t even use his free speech right, because it may hurt the sentiments of the government, oh wait sorry, the people.

The image that India is trying to show of its shining and immerging as the future super power, is being affected by such petty things, I mean don’t you think people laugh when they see this? Its a different thing for China, because it has proclaimed that its a country which is not democratic in nature, why are we waiting? Most of the people in India who vote/live don’t even know the meaning of democracy, if they did; our nation wouldn’t be in such a state, that I am sure of.

Let’s just go ahead and proclaim some ‘cute’ person a dictator of our country, because heck ‘we the people’ love those cute and hot politicians. And then let us not educate the people and sign a pact with China of co-operation, and hand in hand with China, we will too become a country where people work for 22 hours a day for some opium in a sweatshop.

By the way, IndChin is short for India & China, like MicroApple for Microsoft & Apple :)

F*ck the System

This guy from my college, had a teeshirt on which said “FCUK THE SYSTEM”, I asked him if he knew what was going on in politics, and all he could come up with was the Indian Nuke deal which is supposedly already signed with Britain and obviously he can’t be wrong because he is the dude XD. But seriously, I’m fine with people who admit that they don’t know what the <quote> system </quote> is, or they admit that they don’t care/they are not political, but wearing a teeshirt which says something like ‘Fcuk the system’ and not knowing what the system is, is just well pathetic. I bet if this guy could vote he would vote for some party which has a cool name, or a cool leader, a 20 year old girl who will vote for Rahul Gandhi just because he is <quote> cute </quote> seriously man, its not about how he looks its about what he stands for! I know I am ranting, but the current situation of the ‘youngsters’ is just fucked up. They don’t know what is going on in the world, they don’t know what is making news expect the malfunctioning of some model in Lakme Fashion Week or what haircut did Aamir Khan get, sure, you can blame the media, but you can also blame these ‘kool people’ who read such news. Most of the people don’t vote anyway, those who do, just randomly select a party and vote for them, having no clue of what those parties support/don’t support, and who will be in power if that party wins.
But in the end, even we are responsible for the “F*cked up system” and wearing a teeshirt saying the before mentioned quote does not make you an Anarchist or in anyway make you smart about the current political situation.
And plus the system, I am guessing doesn’t mean just the political system, it means both the political and the social system of a person, right? :| But I am quite sure that the person who wore the teeshirt was talking about the political system, how do I know? He was telling the same thing he told me to a bunch of girls who went OMGOMGOMG YOU ARE SO SMART!!! :|
And yeah this is the first post on The Drunk Santa on WordPress XD So go ahead and update your RSS feeds and/or bookmark and/or Blogroll. And yeah no picture for this post.
